Rossmore Pre-School
We operate a Pre-School for 38 weeks of the year with the exception of bank holidays, from 8.45am until 3.15pm. As part of this we offer Pre-School provision to 3-and-4 year old children. In addition to this, we have wrap-around care proviison that caters for 3 and 4-year-olds that runs from 8am - 6pm. For up to 48 weeks a year, we also outsource an after-school club. This is currently run by 'Full of Beans'. More information about this can be found on a wrap-around care page.
In our pre-school we set the firm foundations for children’s development following the Early Years
foundation stage statutory guidance.
The children are at the centre of everything we do and we
value their individual interests.
We support our children through daily interactions to ensure they feel happy, safe and secure while
equipping them with the skills for their next stage moving into Reception.
Continuous provision is very important in pre-school to allow children to learn through play.
There are also adult directed activities to support children to learn new skills.
